SUGAR MAPLE, also known as ROCK MAPLE, is the hardest and strongest maple wood. It polishes well and is widely used for baseball bats as well as furniture, cabinets, violins and other musical instruments, and bowling alleys. Often times it has an unusual grain pattern that makes it particularly beautiful and valuable.
MAPLE BATS give batters the extra edge for top performance. Every maple bat should be made from hand-selected top grain hardwoods for the finest quality baseball bats . The Pro Select grades are made from billets which have a straight and flat grain pattern and are the hardest wood bats in Major Leagues.
