For Immediate Release Viper Bat Company Breaks Record for Birch Bats 2007 has been very good to Viper Bats. In January Viper Bats became one of the first companies to custom manufacture birch bats. As of December it continues to lead the industry followed by Birch Bat Company. “It has been a wild ride” said Don Fine company owner. “We knew that birch was a great wood for bats, but we were completely blown away by the number of orders we received this year”. Viper feels that the popularity of their new birch bat offering comes from both the continued growing interest in baseball for home and Little League teams, but also the interest generated by some of players in the Majors. “A lot of the sales of custom built birch bats are to people who already own Viper Bats made from ash, maple and or bamboo” said Don. “Santa has placed a lot of orders with us for birch bats for the kids on his Good Christmas List, but we’re happy to fill orders for anyone else that wants one for Christmas too”, added Don. “As of December 10, to get a bat for Christmas 2007 we’ll have to use expedited shipping, but we can probably still get bats delivered by the 24th of December as of today”.
