This is a standard Louisville I13 turning. It has a standard sized knob with a sharply flared handle in the bottom hand. The top hand and the neck are long and thin then it jumps up quickly to a large and long barrel. The 161 makes a fine bat in any size but we recommend Birch so that the weights come in correct. The thick handle balances out the bat and it tends to feel like you are swinging a broom stick, especially in a 32" or 33". Most hitters lay off this bat because of the thick handle but once you get over that attribute you will love this stick. This is a slightly end loaded bat that gets through the hitting zone quickly. This is an Ultralight ash 3 pack of youth models. These bats will all be between a -8 to -10 weight drop. These bats are perfect for the younger kids making the transition from metal bats to wood that need a light bat.
**When you give up weight you also give up longevity. Ultralight bats are not as strong as our regular models.**
