Press Release – For Immediate Release
Viper Model 360 Smashes Record for World’s Longest Game
The Viper Bat Model 360 was the bat of choice for this year’s record setting World’s Longest Baseball Game. “The old record according to The Guinness Book of Records was 30 hours and 84 innings” said Don Fine, owner of Viper Bats. “On October 13 and 14, 2007 a local St. Louis Missouri group put that record to bed and we helped them do it. They used the Model 360, a maple bat that was the perfect choice for that game. It has a large sweet spot and it’s really well balanced.
The 2007 record breaking game ran 32 hours, 29 minutes and 25 seconds. The final score was 119 – 81 and raised $50,000 for The Gene Slay Boy’s Club.
