Chris Fine, son of Viper Bats owner Don Fine, has returned from George Fox University where he attended on a baseball scholarship. “College was a great experience” said Chris, “but I’m ready to get back to what I love doing – making bats”. “Chris got lots of opportunities to talk to pro players and swing their bats while he was at college” added Don. “That’s right and now I want to take what I’ve learned and use it to make at least a couple of great new bats for the Viper Lineup” said Chris.

When asked what kind of wood Chris would use for the design of his new bats, Chris answered “For now, that’s a company secret. You’ll have to check the Viper Bat Web Site www.viperbats.com this spring to find out”.
