Why Buy a Viper Bat? Our bat quality starts at the mill. We only use trees over 60 years old grown in an even climate. This ensures a straight quality grain. After harvest these trees are cut into billets and kiln dried to 12% to ensure the lightest possible billet while keeping its strength. After the drying process the billets are graded from 1 to 3A. We only use the #1 premium billets.
Next the billets are turned to size and then inspected again.
	Anytime during the process that the wood doesn't pass, it is scrapped and used as firewood.
	After turning, all bats are sand shaved to produce the big league quality that Viper Customers have come to expect.
When you purchase a Viper Bat be assured you are swinging the same lumber as the big leaguers.
